We placed this awesome elk mount above a handmade bed made of oak branches. We love the way the shape of the mount echoes the branches of the bed. Also love the shadow it makes on the wall. Getting lots of compliments.

We were so lucky to find this cast horn design Elk to display on our new fireplace. Inspired by many trips out west we had covered our fireplace with cultured stone for that mountain cabin feel. We spent a few months looking for just the perfect decoration to adorn our new fireplace wall … Then we discovered Casthorn Designs and fell in love with the elk. It is perfect for our space! We get the most compliments on our new look and would love to add to it with an antler chandelier. It looks authentic and is still light enough to hang easily with minimal assembly.

This elk mount is the feature that really made our cabin a CABIN! I hung it on the king truss of our front porch. It has been there for a year now and hasn’t shown one bit of fading or deterioration. The mounting brackets are heavy duty and fit snugly. The mount hasn’t budged at all, even in high winds. It is so realistic that it fools most everyone who sees it. I couldn’t be more pleased!
